About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, professional, and helpful Car Driver who will not only drive our team safely but also assist with basic office and project site coordination. If you are punctual, know the roads well, and have a helpful attitude, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Driving & Navigation
- Team & Executive Transport: Safely drive engineers to project sites, stay with them during the work, and bring them back. Drive company executives and clients for business meetings both within Surat city and outstation.
- Route Optimization: Comfortable using GPS/Google Maps to find the best, fastest, and traffic-free routes.
2. Material Delivery & Coordination
- Deliveries: Transport automation materials to sites safely in the car.
- Documentation: Ensure all delivery documents and bills are properly signed by the client upon handover.
- Payments: Assist with cash/cheque collection and bill submission when required.
3. Vehicle Upkeep
- Maintenance: Perform daily checks (oil, water, tire pressure) before and after trips. Arrange for regular servicing and repairs.
- Cleanliness: Keep the car completely clean, neat, and comfortable inside and out at all times.
- Logs: Keep a simple track of daily mileage, trips, and fuel expenses for monthly bills.
4. Professionalism & Team Support (In Free Time)
- Site & Office Help: Help engineers on-site with basic tasks if needed. When free at the office, assist with material packing, loading, unloading, or minor office work.
- Client Courtesy: Be polite, respectful, and maintain a helpful attitude with all passengers. Keep all company discussions heard during travel strictly confidential.
Qualifications & Skills Needed
- Valid Driving License: Must have a valid, clean Indian driving license with a safe driving record (no major accidents or violations).
- Experience: Prior experience as a commercial, corporate, or personal driver is preferred.
- Local Knowledge: Excellent familiarity with Surat routes, shortcuts, and nearby highways.
- Punctuality: Highly disciplined with time; must arrive before the scheduled time.
- Language: Basic ability to read/understand maps and communicate clearly with the team.
