Job Title: Mechanical In-Charge – Waste Management Project

About the Role
Every plant runs on moving parts — and we need someone who keeps them moving right. We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical In-Charge to lead the upkeep and performance of all mechanical equipment at our waste management plant, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient operations day in and day out.
What You'll Do
- Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of all mechanical equipment (shredders, conveyors, pumps, blowers, digesters, etc.)
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules
- Diagnose mechanical faults and coordinate quick repairs to minimize downtime
- Ensure equipment is operated and maintained per safety and statutory guidelines
- Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement with vendors
- Supervise mechanical technicians and contractors on-site
- Maintain maintenance logs, equipment history, and service records
- Support commissioning of new machinery and process upgrades
- Work closely with plant, electrical, and process teams for smooth overall operations
What We're Looking For
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in industrial/plant mechanical maintenance, preferably in waste management, biogas, or process plants
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills
- Knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Safety-first mindset with good team supervision skills
