Job Title: Planning Assistant
Department: Production Planning & Control (PPC)
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on experience)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years in Production Planning / Manufacturing
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Preferred)
Job Summary
The Planning Assistant supports production planning activities to ensure smooth workflow, timely production, and efficient utilization of resources in LED manufacturing. The role involves coordinating with production, stores, and procurement teams to maintain proper planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production plans
- Coordinate with production team to ensure plan execution on time
- Monitor production progress and update status reports
- Track raw material availability and coordinate with stores & purchase team
- Maintain production planning data in ERP / Excel
- Support line balancing and workflow management in production
- Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely completion
- Prepare production MIS reports and submit to management
- Assist in handling production schedules for LED assembly lines
- Identify delays and escalate issues to Planning Head
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of production planning concepts (PPC)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems
- Understanding of LED manufacturing process is an added advantage
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
