About the job
I'm a private dating and relationship coach working primarily with high-functioning Indian professionals based in tier-1 cities or abroad. Over the past few months, I've grown my Instagram to almost 13,000 followers organically, and because it's been doing quite well, my coaching practice has reached the point where I need someone who can help me run the business behind the scenes.
This is not a typical assistant role. You'll work directly with me across content, operations, and business management, helping build a premium coaching brand from the inside. Dating and Relationships are a hot space in marketing right now, and the industry is poised to explode. Hopefully you’ll stay with me for a long time if we work well together, but even if this serves as a stepping stone to your next venture, I’d be happy to write you a great letter of recommendation for any creator marketing agencies you’d wish to apply to!
What you'll be doing
The major part of the role involves content and marketing. Mainly, you'll help suggest new content, organise existing content ideas, analyse performance, suggest improvements to content strategy, help repurpose existing content into different formats and maintain a content calendar. You would also help finesse the current reel and post aesthetics for better engagement and growth.
I’ll still be doing the final scripting and shooting videos (for now) but once you’ve got an idea of the way my content is structured, you’ll also edit short-form videos and carousels, and maybe suggest completely new formats that you believe work better for growth and retention.
As a side role, you'll also support the operational side of the business by organising client applications in hot/medium/cold leads, maintaining basic spreadsheets, managing basic contracts and invoices, responding to routine emails, and generally ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks. I’d like you to keep me on schedule and prepare an itemised list of what I need to go through daily and weekly, and keep me on track.
Who I'm looking for:
You need to be very, very good with Instagram and have a deep understanding of finer details like hooks, structure, scrolling psychology, etc. So I’d need someone who has spent a lot of time scrolling and understands what works, especially with high-net-worth individual audiences. Ideally, you would also extend this understanding to LinkedIn and YouTube, as I’m looking to expand into those and monetise them next.
(Currently, social media is my main revenue source, as that’s how my clients find me, but I would also want you to take initiative and reach out to other relevant sources and collaborative partners like matchmakers, dating services or apps, marketing agencies, etc. Fresh ideas and the resolve to follow through on them is what’s needed!)
You should write and communicate exceptionally well in English, and be organised, proactive and extremely detail-oriented – it’s a premium service so even things like typos, font size and grammar matter a lot.
You don't need years of experience, but you should have a strong eye for quality and aesthetics. If you've worked with Instagram, video editing, Canva, CapCut, Notion, Google Workspace, or similar tools, that's a plus.
An interest in psychology, relationships, behavioural science, or personal development would be a bonus, though not essential; I’m happy to teach you about that world!
Most importantly, I'm looking for someone who takes ownership, thinks independently, and enjoys solving problems rather than waiting for instructions or for endless nagging. Since we'll be working together almost daily, it would be great to have someone eager to learn who brings a lot of enthusiasm and excitement, so we can have fun while working together too.
The role
- Fully Remote
- Part-time (approximately 10–15 hours per week, depending on your efficiency)
- ₹10,000/month to start for an initial testing phase, with scope to grow as the business grows
- Flexible working hours, provided work is completed on time. If you’re efficient and can finish the job in less time, I have no issues, as long as it's quality work!
