Job Summary
ShikshaSphere is looking for an experienced and engaging SSC Mathematics Teacher to conduct high-quality online live classes. This is a part-time, fully remote, work-from-home position.
The ideal candidate should have a strong command of Arithmetic and Advanced Mathematics, along with in-depth knowledge of the syllabus and examination patterns of various SSC examinations. The candidate must have excellent teaching and communication skills and their own professional studio setup for live streaming and video production.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interactive live Mathematics classes for SSC aspirants.
- Cover the complete Mathematics syllabus for SSC examinations in a structured manner.
- Teach Arithmetic and Advanced Mathematics through simple, exam-oriented methods.
- Explain important concepts, formulas, shortcuts and calculation techniques.
- Conduct topic-wise and full-syllabus practice sessions.
- Solve Previous Year Questions (PYQs) and Previous Year Papers (PYPs).
- Conduct mock tests, test discussions and detailed solution sessions.
- Record exam-oriented generic and concept-based videos.
- Create engaging educational short videos for YouTube and social media platforms.
- Prepare class notes, practice questions and revision content when required.
- Maintain accuracy, clarity and consistency across all live and recorded content.
- Engage with students during live sessions and resolve their academic doubts.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Graduation from a recognised university.
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching Mathematics for SSC or other government competitive examinations.
- Strong knowledge of the Mathematics syllabus and examination patterns of SSC examinations.
- Excellent command of Arithmetic and Advanced Mathematics.
- Excellent Hindi communication, teaching and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts, formulas and shortcuts clearly.
- Previous experience conducting live classes on YouTube or other online platforms is preferred.
- Comfortable appearing on camera and creating both long-form and short-form educational videos.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent teaching schedule.

As this is a fully remote position, the candidate must have their own professional studio setup, including:
- 75-inch interactive panel or digital teaching board
- High-quality wireless headset microphone, such as the Sennheiser XSW 1-ME3-A, or an equivalent professional system
- 4K PTZ camera
- Six professional 2×2-foot panel lights
- High-performance, heavy-duty computer system
- Reliable power backup
- Stable internet connection with speed of up to 1000 Mbps
- Properly lit, audio-treated and distraction-free teaching environment
- Other essential equipment required for professional live streaming and video recording
