About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our Product & AI team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying data engineering pipelines. You will work closely with ai engineers, software engineers, and product teams to implement intelligent solutions that drive innovation and deliver business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with AI and software engineering teams to design, develop, test, and deploy data acquisition, processing and engineering pipelines.
- Validate and Deploy AI/ML models for various use cases.
- Work with large datasets to extract actionable insights and build predictive models
- Research and stay up to date on the latest developments in Data Engineering, Data Processing, Synthetic Data, Data Drifts, Dataset Management etc.
- Document data models, dictionaries, definitions and datasets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field
- 0 – 2 years of experience in Data engineering or related roles
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Hands-on experience with data engineering and management frameworks (e.g., Hadoop Spark, Apache Airflow, DAV etc.)
- Experience with data wrangling, preprocessing, and feature engineering
- Proficiency in working with structured and unstructured data
- Understanding of deep learning, computer vision, reinforcement learning or generative ai (as applicable)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, GCP, AWS) and MLOps tools is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience deploying models via APIs or microservices
- Experience in healthcare or imaging (e.g., DICOM, HL7/FHIR)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of machine learning workflows and MLOps practices
