The role requires an accomplished academic leader with extensive experience in nursing education, institutional administration, faculty development, and academic governance. The selected candidate will provide strategic leadership to the Nursing College, ensuring excellence in teaching, student development, and institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic and administrative leadership to the Nursing College
- Supervise faculty recruitment, mentoring, and performance evaluation
- Ensure effective implementation of the nursing curriculum and academic policies
- Oversee admissions, examinations, clinical training, and academic administration
- Coordinate with affiliated hospitals for clinical postings and training
- Promote research, faculty development, seminars, and academic activities
- Lead accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Manage departmental planning, budgeting, and overall institutional operations

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. Nursing – Mandatory
- Ph.D. in Nursing – Preferred
- Minimum 15 years of teaching experience in Nursing education
- Minimum 5 years of administrative experience as Principal / Vice Principal / Professor in a Nursing institution
- Strong academic leadership and institutional management experience
- Experience in accreditation and quality assurance processes will be an added advantage
