Key Responsibilities
1. Calibration & Instrument Management
- Ensure timely calibration of all measuring and monitoring instruments used in the plant.
- Maintain the Calibration Master List and monitor calibration due dates.
- Verify the calibration status of measuring instruments on a daily basis before use.
- Ensure that only calibrated and valid instruments are used for production and inspection activities.
- Raise purchase indents for new measuring instruments based on operational requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external calibration agencies for scheduled calibration activities.
- Maintain calibration certificates, reports, and related documentation.
2. Incoming Inspection
- Perform incoming inspection of raw materials as per approved inspection standards and control plans.
- Verify material quality before releasing it for production.
- Ensure only approved and inspected materials are used in the manufacturing process.
- Record inspection results and maintain relevant inspection documents.
3. In-Process Inspection
- Carry out in-process inspection in the Grinding Section as per inspection standards and process control plans.
- Monitor product quality during production to ensure compliance with specified requirements.
- Report process abnormalities and coordinate with production for corrective actions.
- Maintain in-process inspection records accurately.
4. Final Inspection & Dispatch
- Perform final inspection of finished products before dispatch.
- Ensure only quality-approved products are released to customers.
- Verify inspection reports and product conformity prior to dispatch.
- Coordinate with stores and dispatch teams to prevent shipment of non-conforming products.
5. Non-Conforming Product Control
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming products.
- Ensure proper tagging, documentation, and disposition of rejected materials.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
6. Quality Management System Responsibilities
- Follow the requirements of IATF 16949:2016 and the company's Quality Management System.
- Support quality core tools including:
- Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
- Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Inspection, Calibration, and Manufacturing Quality Assurance.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
