SOC Controller – Transportation Security Operations
Job Summary
Responsible for monitoring shipment movements from a security operations perspective and ensuring timely communication regarding incidents, delays, and escalations. The role includes coordinating with drivers, hauliers, and customers through calls and emails to maintain operational security and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and track shipment movements and transportation activities
Handle security-related escalations and incident reporting
Coordinate with drivers and hauliers regarding shipment status and security concerns
Communicate with customers through calls and emails for updates and responses
Report delays, route deviations, suspicious activity, accidents, or operational incidents
Maintain accurate incident logs and communication records
Escalate critical security or operational issues to management promptly
Ensure timely follow-up and response on all reported incidents
Support safe and secure transportation operations through continuous monitoring
Skills & Requirements
Good English written and spoken communication skills
Ability to handle escalations and incident reporting professionally
Basic knowledge of shipment tracking and transportation operations
Strong coordination and multitasking abilities
Familiarity with email communication and reporting systems
Ability to work in rotational shifts and a 24/7 monitoring environment
Ability to remain calm and responsive during operational incidents
