Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Indian Cook to join our team in Juhu, Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing authentic Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine and should be capable of cooking fresh, hygienic, and delicious meals for approximately 20 employees on a daily basis.
The candidate should be comfortable working independently, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and planning balanced weekly menus. Accommodation can be provided for a single candidate, if required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian meals for approximately 20 office employees every day.
- Plan and prepare a variety of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner menus as required.
- Ensure food is prepared with consistent taste, quality, and presentation.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in the kitchen.
- Purchase or coordinate the procurement of groceries and kitchen supplies, ensuring proper inventory management and minimal wastage.
- Store food items appropriately and monitor stock levels.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and cooking areas.
- Follow company hygiene and safety guidelines at all times.
- Be flexible to prepare special meals during office events or guest visits whenever required.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Indian Cook in a corporate office, guest house, restaurant, hotel, or similar establishment.
- Excellent knowledge of Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine.
- Ability to prepare food for 20-30 people efficiently.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
- Ability to plan menus and manage kitchen inventory.
- Honest, disciplined, reliable, and punctual.
- Comfortable working in Juhu, Mumbai.
- Candidates willing to stay in company-provided accommodation (single occupancy) will be preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working as a Corporate Office Cook, Guest House Cook, Executive Residence Cook, Hotel Cook, or Restaurant Cook.
- Ability to prepare a variety of regional Indian cuisines will be an added advantage.
