Overview
We are looking for an ESG Analytics & Climate Reporting Specialist to support the delivery of ESG, carbon and climate reporting for institutional investors and pension fund clients.
The role focuses on the collection, validation and analysis of ESG and climate data, alongside the production of client reporting, including TCFD, net-zero, carbon footprint and broader sustainability disclosures. The successful candidate will have experience building multi-asset, portfolio-level analytics and will work closely with client teams to help them understand what's happening with client portfolios and why.
This is a highly analytical and detail-oriented role requiring strong technical skills, rigorous quality control processes and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality reporting in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment. The role also offers opportunities to improve reporting processes, systems and automation capabilities.

Minimum Required Degree: Bachelor’s in Finance/Maths/ Economics/Commerce
- Preferred Degree: Masters in Finance/Maths/ /Economics/Commerce
- Certificate(s)/Special Training: A CFA Charterholder or FIA/AIA, or working towards these qualifications

Experience on Advanced Excel skills and modelling
- Experience (Career Level Guide) : Minimum 2-4 Years
Knowledge, Skills And Ability:

2–6 years' experience in ESG analytics & reporting, climate reporting, responsible investment or a related analytical role.

Strong experience producing ESG, carbon, TCFD or sustainability reports for institutional investors or pension schemes.

Good understanding of climate and ESG metrics, including carbon footprinting, WACI, temperature alignment and net-zero reporting.

Experience aggregating data across multi-asset portfolios and applying proxy methodologies where underlying data is unavailable.

Strong knowledge of ESG and climate reporting frameworks, including TCFD, ISSB and UK pension scheme disclosure requirements.

Hands-on experience with MSCI ESG and Climate data, including an understanding of MSCI methodologies, data coverage and reporting outputs.

Exceptional attention to detail and experience implementing robust quality control and validation processes.

Advanced Excel skills would be helpful, with experience developing reporting models, integrating robust quality control and designing process improvements.

Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain methodologies, assumptions and data limitations clearly.
