Job Title: Dispatch Supervisor
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organized Dispatch Supervisor to oversee daily dispatch operations and ensure the timely and accurate movement of goods. The ideal candidate will coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and transportation teams while maintaining high standards of efficiency, accuracy, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily dispatch operations and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and transportation teams to schedule dispatches.
- Verify dispatch documentation, delivery notes, and shipment details before release.
- Monitor dispatch schedules and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Allocate work and provide guidance to dispatch staff.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and prepare operational reports.
- Resolve dispatch-related issues and coordinate with relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Monitor vehicle loading to ensure accuracy and prevent shipment discrepancies.
- Support inventory and warehouse teams during stock movement and dispatch activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0.6 – 2 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, warehouse operations, or a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
- Experience with ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or dispatch software is preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team management abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
