Job Title: Faculty – Sound Design & Audio Production
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Sound Faculty member to teach and mentor students in Sound Design, Audio Production, and Film Sound across Foundation, Bachelor's, Master's, and Certificate programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Sound Design, Sound Recording, Audio Editing, Mixing, and Film Sound Theory.
- Mentor students in short films, graduation projects, and professional productions.
- Develop lesson plans, curriculum, and assessments as per university guidelines.
- Support departmental administration, scheduling, and curriculum development.
- Guide students in studio and field recording, Foley, ADR, and audio post-production workflows.
- Assist in creating audio content for workshops, e-learning materials, and institutional projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Sound Engineering, Audio Production, Sound Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Adobe Audition, Reaper, Nuendo, DaVinci Resolve Fairlight, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of sound recording, editing, mixing, mastering, and audio post-production.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools and emerging technologies in audio production and media workflows.
Experience
- 5–10 years of professional experience in Sound Design, Audio Engineering, or Audio Post-Production.
- Experience working on films, television, OTT, podcasts, or digital media projects.
Desired Skills
- Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
- Passion for cinema, storytelling, and media education.
- Ability to guide students in both creative and technical aspects of sound production.
- Knowledge of the Film, Media, and Entertainment industry is preferred.
Pay: ₹9,814.82 - ₹53,823.74 per month
