We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in construction billing, with mandatory exposure to government infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing client billing, ensuring accurate documentation, and coordinating with internal teams for timely bill submission and payment processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage Client Bills, RA Bills (Running Account Bills), and Final Bills for government construction projects.
- Verify quantities, analyze BOQs, and prepare accurate billing documentation.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Accounts teams.
- Ensure timely submission of bills as per project milestones and contractual requirements.
- Maintain billing records, invoices, work orders, measurement sheets, and supporting documents.
- Follow up with clients and consultants for bill approvals and payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with government billing procedures, contract terms, and documentation standards.
- Assist in project cost reconciliation, billing reports, and project costing activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Construction Billing, RA Billing, Final Billing, and Client Billing.
- Hands-on experience with BOQ (Bill of Quantities), Quantity Verification, and Quantity Surveying.
- Experience in Government Project Billing is mandatory.
- Good understanding of billing documentation, work orders, invoices, and project cost control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and billing/ERP software.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction billing.
- Mandatory experience handling billing for Government Construction/Infrastructure Projects.
Preferred Experience: PWD, CPWD, NHAI, Railways, Smart City, EPC, or other Government Infrastructure Projects.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per year
