We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer who can own and drive quality across firmware, backend, and application testing. This role requires strong hands-on testing experience, the ability to support both System Integration Testing (SIT) and component-level validation, and the leadership skills to guide quality activities across multiple products and teams.

Lead QA planning, test design, execution, and release validation across firmware, backend, APIs, and web/mobile applications.

Drive end-to-end System Integration Testing for connected devices, cloud communication, hardware interactions, and application workflows.

Validate firmware behavior, backend services, databases, APIs, and integration flows across multiple product combinations.

Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects while collaborating with firmware, backend, application, product, automation, and business teams.

Contribute to sprint planning, requirement reviews, test strategy, quality metrics, release readiness, and QA sign-off activities.

Mentor team members, review test coverage, improve QA processes, and identify automation opportunities for regression and repetitive validation.

5+ years of QA experience with strong hands-on exposure to IoT products, connected devices, firmware, embedded systems, or device-cloud integrations.

Strong understanding of STLC, defect life cycle, QA best practices, and release validation processes.

Experience in System Integration Testing across firmware, hardware, backend APIs, cloud communication, and web/mobile applications.

Good knowledge of device behavior validation, logs analysis, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting across firmware, backend, and application layers.

Experience with API testing, SQL/database validation, and tools such as Postman, Jira, Zephyr, or similar.

Good understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and cross-functional collaboration in product development teams.

Understanding of REST APIs, networking basics, and communication protocols.

Basic automation knowledge using Playwright, Katalon, Selenium, or similar tools.

Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter is an advantage.

Awareness of AI-assisted testing, test data generation, log analysis, or automation productivity tools is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
