Big Star Cafe is a premium specialty coffee and culinary destination situated in the Financial District, Nanakramguda, Hyderabad (adjacent to the US Consulate General). We cater to an esteemed corporate, international, and diplomatic clientele seeking exceptional artisanal coffee, curated food, and elevated service standards.
Role Overview:
We are seeking articulate, presentable, and guest-centric Brand Experience Captains / Floor Hosts to serve as the face of Big Star Cafe. In this role, you will elevate the guest journey from arrival to departure—acting as a brand storyteller, order concierge, and warm hospitality host.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Welcome & Engagement: Provide polished hospitality to welcome local and international guests with warmth, poise, and professional etiquette.
- Brand & Menu Storytelling: Confidently guide guests through our specialty coffee origins, brewing techniques, ingredient sourcing, and artisanal menu highlights.
- Floor & Barista Coordination: Act as a seamless bridge between guest preferences, the coffee bar, and the kitchen to ensure accurate order customization and prompt service.
- Event & Specials Promotion: Proactively inform guests about ongoing cafe events, seasonal coffee launches, and brand offerings.
- Guest Service & De-escalation: Maintain high situational awareness on the floor, handling dietary requests, special orders, and guest feedback with composure and tact.
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 1 to 3+ years in structured customer-facing environments such as premium coffee chains, 2–5 Star Hotel F&B outlets, airline lounges, or boutique cafes.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent spoken English communication is mandatory (required for international consulate clientele). Spoken fluency in Hindi is preferred.
- Grooming & Poise: Impeccable professional grooming, presentable demeanor, and active listening skills.
- Service Orientation: Passion for specialty coffee, culinary details, and delivering high-touch customer experiences.
Shift & Working Schedule:
- Shift Duration: 10-Hour Scheduled Shift (Structured as 9 Active Operational Hours + 1 Hour Mandatory Rest & Meal Intervals)
- Weekly Off: Scheduled weekly off provided on a rotating roster basis.
Salary & Benefits:
- Monthly Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (commensurate with experience and skill).
