Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced Gen-set Electrician with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in generator electrical systems, troubleshooting, control panels, alternators, synchronization systems, and electrical fault diagnosis.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently identifying and resolving electrical faults in diesel generators and power generation systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in diesel generators.
- Troubleshoot generator control panels, synchronization panels, and AMF systems.
- Perform maintenance and testing of alternators, AVR systems, and generator electrical components.
- Inspect and repair wiring, sensors, relays, breakers, and protection systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Support generator commissioning and testing activities.
- Maintain reports, service records, and maintenance documentation.
- Follow company HSE and quality procedures.
Requirements :
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with generator electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of alternators, AVR systems, control panels, synchronization panels, and protection systems.
- Experience with diesel generator brands such as Cummins, Perkins, CAT, Kohler, FG Wilson, or similar.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults independently.
- Experience in field service and breakdown support.
