We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Foundry Machine Shop Head to lead our machining operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete machine shop, ensuring production targets, maintaining quality standards, optimizing productivity, and leading a team of engineers, supervisors, and operators.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Lead and manage daily operations of the Foundry Machine Shop.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per customer requirements.
- Monitor machining quality and implement corrective actions when required.
- Optimize machine utilization, productivity, and process efficiency.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company policies.
- Coordinate with Production, Foundry, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance departments.
- Reduce rejection, rework, downtime, and manufacturing costs.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate machine shop personnel.
- Prepare production reports and monitor KPIs.
Required Qualifications:-
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10–20 years of experience in Foundry and Machine Shop operations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC/HMC machines, machining processes, tooling, fixtures, and production planning.
- Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and Quality Management Systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience:-
- Experience in automotive casting machining.
- Knowledge of machining cast iron and SG iron components.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning software.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹175,000.00 per month
