Position: Primary Teacher (PRT) – Hindi
Department: Primary Section (Classes I–V)
Job Summary
A PRT Hindi teacher is responsible for teaching basic Hindi language skills to primary students in an engaging and child-friendly manner. The role focuses on developing reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills along with correct grammar usage and language appreciation.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Hindi to Classes I–V:
- Hindi alphabets (वर्णमाला)
- Basic grammar (व्याकरण)
- Reading and comprehension
- Writing skills (शब्द, वाक्य, निबंध, अनुच्छेद)
- Rhymes and stories
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and activity-based learning materials.
- Conduct reading practice, dictation, and oral language activities.
- Develop students’ handwriting and pronunciation skills.
- Use storytelling, poems, and games to make learning interesting.
- Conduct regular assessments, tests, and classwork evaluation.
- Maintain student records, progress reports, and attendance.
- Provide remedial support to weak students.
- Encourage students to speak Hindi confidently in class.
- Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment.
- Communicate with parents about student progress.
- Participate in PTMs, school functions, and training programs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation in any discipline.
- D.El.Ed / BTC / JBT / B.Ed. (mandatory in most schools).
- CTET (Paper I) preferred for CBSE schools.
- Strong command over Hindi language (spoken and written).
Experience
- Fresher or 1–5 years of primary teaching experience preferred.
- Experience handling primary classes is an advantage.
