Job Summary
The TGT Computer Teacher is responsible for teaching Computer Science/Computer Applications to students of Classes VI to X. The teacher will deliver engaging lessons, develop students' computer skills, and promote digital literacy while maintaining a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science and Information Technology to students of Classes VI to X.
- Prepare lesson plans in accordance with the school curriculum and academic calendar.
- Deliver interactive classroom and practical computer lab sessions.
- Teach topics such as computer fundamentals, MS Office, internet safety, coding basics, programming concepts, databases, and digital literacy, as applicable to the curriculum.
- Assess students through classwork, assignments, practicals, projects, and examinations.
- Maintain students' academic records, attendance, and progress reports.
- Manage and supervise the computer laboratory, ensuring proper use of equipment.
- Promote safe and responsible use of technology and the internet.
- Prepare question papers, worksheets, and study materials.
- Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher meetings, examinations, and co-curricular activities.
- Support students in developing problem-solving, logical thinking, and computational skills.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate appropriate digital tools into teaching.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred/required as per school norms).
- Relevant teaching experience is preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of computer fundamentals and programming concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Office and educational technology tools.
- Effective classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct practical computer lab sessions.
- Good organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students through innovative teaching methods.
Working Hours
As per school timings and academic requirements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
