Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Maintenance Staff member to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in machinery, panels, wiring, lighting systems, and other electrical installations.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve potential electrical issues.
- Install, test, and maintain electrical components and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to minimize equipment downtime.
- Assist in emergency breakdown maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial, commercial, or facility environment.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, control panels, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with electrical safety regulations and best practices.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work shifts and respond to maintenance emergencies when required.
