WHAT YOU WILL DO
Own the student accommodation journey
From the moment a student receives an offer letter to the day their booking is confirmed. Understand their city, university, budget, move-in date and preferences, then present options that genuinely fit. You are the single point of contact for accommodation across the student base.
Work the student pipeline Proactively reach every student — calls, WhatsApp, email, in-branch. Do not wait for students to ask. Most will not know they need to book until it is too late and prices have risen.
Deliver partner commitments Know at any moment where each partner stands against the volume we committed. Flag shortfalls early, not at quarter end. Be the person our partners deal with day to day.
Run the CRM properly Every student, every stage, every outcome logged accurately and on time. If it is not in the CRM it did not happen. You will also be the person who keeps the accommodation pipeline clean for everyone else.
Reporting in Excel Weekly pipeline and conversion reporting, partner-wise booking numbers, commission tracking and reconciliation. You must be able to build and maintain these yourself — pivot tables, lookups, filters — not wait for someone to send them to you.
Coordinate across branches Work with counsellors so accommodation is raised at the right point in the student's journey. Train and remind them. This is influence without authority — you do not manage counsellors, but you need them.
Handle problems Booking issues, cancellations, refunds, move-in complaints, disputes with a partner. You own these through to resolution rather than passing them on.
Must have
- 2–4 years in a sales or customer-facing role with real targets attached.
- Genuinely customer-centric — you enjoy solving a student's problem, not just closing them.
- Confident on a CRM (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce or similar) and disciplined about keeping it current.
- Strong Excel: pivot tables, lookups, filters, building a report from raw data without help.
- Operations experience — you have run a process end to end, not only sold at the front of it.
- Clear spoken and written English. Comfortable on the phone all day. Comfortable working with people you do not manage.
Nice to have
- Study-abroad, student housing, real estate, travel or hospitality background.
- Experience managing third-party vendors or channel partners. Familiarity with UK, Ireland, US, Canada or Australia student cities. Additional Indian languages.
Not a fit if
- You want pure cold-calling volume with no follow-through. You close a deal and move on. Students here come back with problems and you own them.
- You dislike record-keeping. Half this job is data discipline.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
