Location: Sindhu Bhavan Road, Ahmedabad
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience Level: 1–3 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D technical drawings and construction documentation using AutoCAD.
- Interpret architectural and interior design concepts into accurate working drawings.
- Develop layout plans, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, electrical layouts, flooring plans, and detailed joinery drawings.
- Coordinate with interior designers, architects, and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy and project feasibility.
- Revise drawings based on client feedback, design changes, and site requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and building regulations.
- Conduct site visits, if required, to verify measurements and incorporate site conditions into drawings.
- Maintain organized documentation and drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and technical documentation when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Draftsman/Draftswoman in interior design, architecture, or construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other drafting software will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and material specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple projects.
