- Create a Safe and Caring Environment
- Provide a warm, welcoming, and child-friendly classroom.
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of every child.
- Build positive relationships with children and encourage confidence.
- Teaching and Learning
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate lessons and activities.
- Teach basic concepts such as alphabets, numbers, colours, shapes, and general awareness.
- Use stories, rhymes, songs, games, and activities to make learning enjoyable.
- Encourage learning through play and hands-on experiences.
- Child Development
- Support the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of children.
- Develop children's communication, listening, and vocabulary skills.
- Encourage creativity through drawing, colouring, craft, music, and movement activities.
- Help children develop sharing, cooperation, and social skills.
- Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline using positive and child-friendly methods.
- Establish simple classroom routines and good habits.
- Encourage cleanliness, personal hygiene, and proper manners.
- Manage classroom materials and learning resources effectively.
- Student Observation and Assessment
- Observe children's learning, behaviour, and developmental progress.
- Maintain appropriate student records and activity reports.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide additional support where required.
- Provide regular feedback on children's progress.
- Parent Communication
- Maintain positive communication with parents and guardians.
- Share information about the child's academic, behavioural, and developmental progress.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and discuss areas for improvement.
- Co-Curricular Activities
- Organize celebrations, competitions, storytelling, role plays, and cultural activities.
- Encourage participation in sports, music, dance, art, and other creative activities.
- Support school events and programmes.
- Professional Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, and classroom activities.
- Attend staff meetings, training programmes, and professional development sessions.
- Coordinate with other teachers and school management.
- Follow school policies, procedures, and child-safety guidelines.
- Overall Responsibility
