Job Description: Accommodation & Staff Logistics ManagerCompany: Della Resorts & Adventure Location: Lonavala, Maharashtra Department: Human Resources / Administration & FacilitiesReporting To: Head of HR / Director of OperationsJob PurposeThe Accommodation & Staff Logistics Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management, maintenance, and allocation of 110 residential accommodation units, alongside supervising the complete welfare, dining (staff cafeteria), and daily transport logistics for over 1,100 on-site employees. The primary goal is to provide our internal guests (employees) with the same standard of care we offer our external resort guests, aligning with Della's core employee-first philosophy. Key Responsibilities1. Housing & Accommodation Management (110 Units)Inventory & Allocation: Manage the room allotment strategy for 110 residential quarters, optimizing space allocation for multiple tiers of staff (Executive, Supervisor, and Associate levels).Facility & Upkeep: Oversee routine housekeeping, deep cleaning, pest control, and waste management across all accommodation blocks.Maintenance Coordination: Work closely with the engineering/MEP team to handle regular civil, electrical, and plumbing repairs. Conduct weekly structural audits.Asset Management: Track and maintain records of all resort furniture, linen, appliances, and assets issued to staff quarters.Rules & Discipline: Enforce strict housing policies, safety guidelines, and code of conduct to maintain harmony and a positive community living environment.2. Staff Logistics & Transportation (1,100+ Staff)Shift Transportation: Plan, optimize, and execute seamless daily transport schedules (shuttle buses/vans) to move 1,100+ employees smoothly between residential quarters, shift drop-offs, and external transit points.Vendor Management: Supervise transport vendors, ensuring vehicle safety, regular maintenance, correct licensing, and optimal route management.Roster Alignment: Sync transport schedules directly with the dynamic, 24/7 resort shift rosters to prevent operational delays or staffing bottlenecks.
3. Staff Welfare & Cafeteria (Daily Operations)Cafeteria Supervision: Oversee the daily operations of the Staff Cafeteria / Executive Dining Area. Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene, nutrition, taste consistency, and menu variety for 1,100+ personnel daily.Health & Safety: Maintain first-aid protocols, emergency medical response frameworks, and fire safety systems across all staff residential sectors. Recreation & Engagement: Collaborate with the HR team to host quarterly town halls, engagement activities, and community events within the residential zones.4. Vendor, Budget, and Compliance ManagementFinancial Discipline: Manage monthly budgets for staff housing, cafeteria supplies, transport, and utilities. Optimize costs without compromising quality or safety.Statutory Compliance: Ensure all staff accommodation complexes comply with local municipal laws, fire safety certifications, and state labor regulations.Core Competencies & SkillsLogistical Prowess: Ability to handle high-volume workforce movements under tight resort timelines.Strong Interpersonal Skills: High levels of empathy combined with the capability to firmly handle grievance resolution or disciplinary matters. Vendor Negotiation: Proven experience managing commercial relationships with food vendors, transport agencies, and maintenance contractors.Crisis Management: Calm under pressure; capable of addressing emergency logistics (medical emergencies, heavy monsoon disruptions in Lonavala, or power failures).
