Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Architect to design and implement scalable enterprise data solutions using the Microsoft Fabric platform. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric architecture, data engineering, Lakehouse and Warehouse design, pipeline orchestration, and enterprise-scale data integration.
This role requires strong architectural capabilities, customer-facing experience, and the ability to lead data engineering initiatives for large-scale global deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable and high-performance Microsoft Fabric solutions for enterprise data platforms.
- Define optimal Lakehouse and Warehouse architecture based on business requirements.
- Develop and implement efficient data partitioning strategies for large-scale workloads.
- Design and optimize Microsoft Fabric pipelines, synchronization schedules, and data engineering workflows.
- Manage complex scheduled data ingestion from 1,000+ source databases.
- Optimize Capacity Unit (CU) utilization and monitor Fabric platform performance.
- Lead Data Engineering teams in implementing enterprise-grade data solutions.
- Collaborate with global architects and cross-functional teams for successful project delivery.
- Participate in customer discussions, architecture reviews, and technical solution presentations.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and governance across enterprise data platforms.
Required Skills
- 10–15 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Cloud Data Platforms.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric Architecture.
- Microsoft Fabric Certified Architect (Preferred).
- Expert knowledge of Lakehouse vs. Warehouse architecture and implementation.
- Strong experience designing data partitioning strategies.
- Hands-on experience building and optimizing Microsoft Fabric Pipelines.
- Experience scheduling and monitoring enterprise-scale data pipelines.
- Expertise in Capacity Unit (CU) optimization and workload management.
- Experience handling large-scale enterprise data integrations from 1,000+ databases.
- Strong leadership experience managing Data Engineering teams.
- Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise and global deployments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Fabric Certification.
- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud data platforms.
- Strong understanding of modern Data Engineering best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and architectural design skills.
