Key Responsibilities
- Prepare mise en place and ingredients for Indian cuisine.
- Assist in preparing curries, gravies, rice, breads, dals, and other Indian dishes.
- Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and equipment.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain portion control.
- Follow HACCP and food safety procedures.
- Assist during buffet, banquet, and restaurant operations.
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Certificate in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Indian ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques.
Working Conditions
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to work in a hot, busy, and fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
- Must maintain proper grooming, personal hygiene, and food-safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
