Job Summary
A Multi-Skilled Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The role requires expertise across multiple technical disciplines and a strong focus on safety, quality, and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC-related faults.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for reliability improvements.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Install, test, and commission new equipment and systems.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with production, operations, and external vendors when required.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery, utilities, and building services.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and energy-efficiency programs.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, and control circuits.
- Understanding of mechanical systems, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and rotating equipment.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and facility maintenance.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred for senior positions).
- Relevant certifications in electrical safety, HVAC, or maintenance are advantageous.
Experience
- Junior MST: 03 years of maintenance experience,in manufacturing, facilities, or industrial maintenance
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
