Surya International (est. 1957) is a Delhi-based home furnishings and handicrafts export house .We're hiring a senior merchandiser to own the full cycle - product development through production and dispatch.
This is a home furnishings role. Candidates from garment/apparel merchandising will not be considered. We make textiles for the home - cushions, throws, table linen,, decorative accessories - NOT clothing. Please apply only if your experience is in home textiles / home furnishings export.
Roles & Responsibility
End-to-end export merchandising: enquiry, costing, sampling, buyer approvals, production, QC, dispatch
Product development from buyer brief or design concept through to a production-ready, costed sample
Driving sampling, embellishment (aari, chikankari, beadwork, zardozi) and stitching vendors on a job-work model
Buyer communication and follow-through with international retail accounts
Production tracking and on-time delivery against ship windows
Requirement :-
8+ years in home furnishings / home textiles export merchandising
Proven ownership of PD-to-production and end-to-end export operations
Direct experience with European/US/UK home retail buyers
Strong on costing, critical path, and vendor management
Comfortable with structured systems and digital tracking (we run on Google Sheets)
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
