Job Summary:
A Kitchen Helper supports the kitchen staff in preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. This role is essential for keeping the kitchen organized, hygienic, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs and cooks in basic food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting vegetables, etc.)
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Wash dishes, pots, and pans
- Ensure proper storage of food and supplies
- Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain garbage areas
- Refill supplies such as ingredients, utensils, and cleaning materials
- Help in receiving and storing deliveries
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Support kitchen staff during busy hours
Skills & Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina (standing for long hours, lifting items)
- Good hygiene and cleanliness practices
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Qualifications:
- No formal education required (high school preferred)
- Prior kitchen or hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
