We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer who can create artwork and prepare precise digital files for our laser machine production. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in CorelDRAW and Photoshop and understand how to scale, size, and format designs accurately so they map perfectly onto physical materials for laser cutting or engraving.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Layout: Create clean vector and raster designs using CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop based on client requirements.
Laser Machine Sizing & Preparation: Scale and size designs precisely using actual physical measurements (mm/inches) to avoid material wastage.
File Conversion: Convert images into clean vector outlines, handle line weights, and set up color coding (e.g., red lines for cutting, black lines for engraving) required by laser software.
Quality Control: Inspect final digital templates against the physical dimensions of the sheet/material before sending the file to production.
Key Skills & Requirements
Software Expertise: Mastery of CorelDRAW (essential for vector layouts) and Adobe Photoshop.
Understanding of Laser Sizing: Knowing how to set up the workspace canvas to match the exact bed size of the laser machine.
Technical Precision: Ability to work accurately with measuring tools (scales, vernier calipers) and translate those numbers directly into the software.
Experience: 0–2 years of experience in a laser cutting unit, signage shop, gift manufacturing, or print packaging business is a plus (freshers with strong software skills are welcome).
