Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with mechanics to understand required repairs and suggest cost-effective alternatives.
- Provide detailed information on services, parts, and repair options to management and customers.
- Handle customer queries regarding service outcomes, timelines, and scheduling.
- Manage appointment bookings, vehicle drop-offs, and pick-ups.
- Advise customers on warranties, cost-saving options, and vehicle replacement vs. repair decisions.
- Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Clearly explain services performed and associated costs; handle billing and payments.
- Coordinate with technicians for parts ordering and ensure availability on time.
- Keep management updated on service progress and delivery timelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial vehicle service industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and industry practices.
- Experience in automotive/service-related roles preferred.
- Familiarity with service management software.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, and management.
- Diploma/Associate degree in Mechanics or related field (preferred).
