About the Role
Career Launcher is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable GS & GK Faculty to join our academic team. The faculty will be responsible for teaching General Studies (GS), General Knowledge (GK), Static GK and Current Affairs to students preparing for CLAT, MBA Entrance Exams (CAT/XAT/SNAP/NMAT etc.) and CUET.
The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to make current affairs and general awareness engaging, relevant and exam-oriented.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and interactive GS, GK and Current Affairs classes for CLAT, MBA and CUET aspirants.
- Teach Static GK covering:
- Indian History & Culture
- Geography
- Indian Polity & Constitution
- Indian Economy
- General Science
- Environment & Ecology
- Art & Culture
- Awards, Books & Authors
- Sports
- Important Institutions & Organizations
- National & International Events
- Cover Current Affairs with an exam-oriented approach, including:
- National & International Affairs
- Government Schemes & Policies
- Business & Economy
- Legal & Constitutional developments
- International Relations
- Appointments & Awards
- Reports & Indices
- Science & Technology
- Sports & Important Events
- Develop classroom notes, current affairs capsules, quizzes, MCQs and practice exercises.
- Conduct regular GK/Current Affairs quizzes and mock tests.
- Analyse examination trends and align classroom teaching with the latest requirements of CLAT, CAT/XAT/SNAP/NMAT and CUET.
- Simplify complex national and international developments and explain their relevance from an examination perspective.
- Mentor students and address their academic queries.
- Coordinate with the academic team for test creation, content development and performance analysis.
- Keep the course content updated with the latest developments and examination patterns.
- Participate in academic events, workshops, seminars and demo sessions when required.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong command over Static GK, General Studies and Current Affairs.
- Excellent awareness of national and international developments.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage students and make GK/current affairs interesting.
- Ability to teach students from different academic backgrounds and varying levels of preparation.
- Strong MCQ-solving and question-framing skills.
- Good understanding of competitive entrance examinations.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring and student development.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Political Science, History, Geography, Economics, International Relations, Journalism, Law, or a related discipline.
- Prior teaching experience for CLAT / CAT / XAT / SNAP / NMAT / CUET / UPSC / SSC / other competitive examinations will be preferred.
- Candidates with strong academic credentials and excellent subject knowledge but limited teaching experience may also be considered.

Experience: Preferably 2+ years in competitive-exam teaching
Compensation: Commensurate with experience, subject expertise and teaching capability
Pay: ₹300.00 - ₹800.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
