That is what the Business Development Representative is responsible for.
This role operates in the intelligence layer of talent operations. You are not recruiting, you are building the precondition for every placement that happens. You work with data, sourcing channels, skill clusters, and assessment pipelines. You track notice periods, pool depth, and conversion signals with precision, because if the data is wrong, the entire delivery engine operates on false assumptions.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain a live and skill balanced talent pool across multiple technology clusters
- Monitor pool health metrics daily including depth, availability, and notice period distribution
- Act proactively before gaps appear rather than reacting after shortages occur
- Run intelligence led sourcing for future focused talent categories such as GenAI, multi cloud, and next generation ERP
- Source candidates beyond job boards through communities, open source platforms, and professional networks
- Track sourcing channel performance and adjust efforts based on actual conversion outcomes
- Coordinate candidate pre assessment before entry into the pool and maintain quality standards
- Audit pool data consistently to ensure accuracy in availability and candidate information
Who You Are
- 1 to 4 years of experience in talent sourcing, research, or a data driven operations role
- Ability to identify patterns early and act before issues escalate
- Strong understanding of sourcing techniques beyond traditional job boards
- High focus on data accuracy and its downstream impact
- Curious about technology and able to understand evolving skill sets and their relevance
- Comfortable working independently with ownership of outcomes
