Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and academically qualified Assistant Professor – Science to join our university. The candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, student mentoring, curriculum development, and participation in academic and institutional activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions.
- Prepare course plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct research and publish research papers in reputed journals.
- Guide and mentor students in academic and research activities.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, and departmental events.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic administration.
- Maintain student records and evaluate academic performance.
- Promote interdisciplinary learning and research.
- Perform other academic responsibilities assigned by the department/university.
Eligible Qualifications
- Master’s degree in the relevant Science discipline with minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university.
- Ph.D. in the relevant/allied discipline preferred/required as applicable.
- NET/SET qualification as applicable under prevailing UGC regulations.
- Relevant teaching/research experience will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, teaching, research, and presentation skills.
