Security Engineer – Application Security

Job Summary
We are looking for an Application Security Engineer to manage security across Android applications, backend APIs and infrastructure through security testing, hardening, audits and vulnerability management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct security reviews and penetration testing.
- Define and enforce secure coding standards.
- Perform Android application security testing and hardening.
- Review API authentication, authorisation and input validation.
- Conduct regular VAPT activities.
- Implement SAST, DAST and dependency scanning in CI/CD.
- Support compliance readiness and data protection requirements.
- Manage secrets, encryption and key rotation.
- Lead security incident response.
- Train engineering teams on secure development practices.
Required Skills
- Hands-on application security/penetration testing experience.
- Strong OWASP Top 10 and Mobile Top 10 knowledge.
- Android security testing using tools such as Frida, Objection, MobSF, Burp Suite or jadx.
- API and web application penetration testing.
- Knowledge of TLS, encryption and key management.
- Linux and cloud security knowledge.
- Strong security reporting and remediation skills.
Preferred
- OSCP, CEH, eMAPT or CISSP.
- Payments/fintech security experience.
- PCI-DSS familiarity.
- DPDP Act 2023 knowledge.
- Experience building security programs.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
