The HT Line Coordinator & HOTO Engineer is responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, commissioning, and HOTO (Handing Over & Taking Over) process of High Tension (HT) power lines and associated infrastructure. This role ensures project execution complies with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders.
Supervise and coordinate the construction and erection of HT lines (11kV, 33kV, 66kV, 132kV, or higher voltage levels).
Review and interpret project drawings, technical specifications, and standards for HT line works.
Monitor contractors and site teams to ensure timely execution of HT line works within the budget.
Plan daily/weekly activities, resource allocation, and resolve on-site technical issues.
Conduct line route surveys and support design optimization.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, quality protocols, and environmental standards.
Maintain site documentation such as inspection records, test reports, and progress reports.
Plan and execute the Handing Over and Taking Over (HOTO) process for HT line infrastructure post-installation.
Coordinate with commissioning teams, clients, and local utilities for energization and testing.
Ensure all documentation, test results, and quality clearances are in place prior to HOTO.
Facilitate inspections with clients and third parties during the HOTO process.
Resolve any non-conformities or punch points identified during pre-HOTO or post-HOTO inspections.
Prepare HOTO reports, snag lists, and ensure final acceptance certificates are obtained from clients.
