We are seeking a Junior Engineer to support and directly work in tube bending, polishing, and cleaning operations within an aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for helping ensure on-time delivery, supporting daily production needs, maintaining quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement in shop operations.

Role Overview:

Directly support and participate in tube bending, polishing, and cleaning processes on the shop floor

Monitor daily production activities to help ensure delivery commitments are met

Coordinate with production, quality, and planning teams to resolve operational issues

Support process adherence to aerospace safety, quality, and compliance requirements

Review work instructions, routing, and shop documentation for accuracy and execution

Assist in troubleshooting process issues related to bending quality, surface finish, and cleanliness standards

Track production performance and escalate risks that may impact delivery, quality, or cost

Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to improve flow, productivity, and defect reduction

Ensure proper handling of tools, fixtures, and materials used in tube manufacturing operations

Maintain clean and organized work areas following shop discipline and standard practices

Collaborate with supervisors and operators to improve process capability and throughput.
Candidate with minimum of 2 years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment with hands-on exposure to tube bending, polishing, and cleaning operations.

Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or related engineering discipline.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in aerospace manufacturing.

Experience supporting or participating in tube bending, polishing, and cleaning processes.

Ability to review and follow work instructions, routing sheets, and shop documentation.

Understanding of aerospace safety, quality, and compliance requirements.

Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues related to bending quality, surface finish, and cleanliness standards.

Experience tracking daily production activities and supporting delivery performance.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and planning
.

Knowledge of continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.

Familiarity with shop floor discipline, 5S, and standard work practices.
