About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior PHP Developer to join our team. The selected candidate will help develop and maintain web applications, work with databases and APIs, and support e-commerce projects.
This position is suitable for an early-career developer who has sound PHP fundamentals and is eager to improve through practical project experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PHP web applications
- Assist with Laravel-based projects
- Create and manage MySQL databases
- Build responsive pages using HTML, CSS and Bootstrap
- Work with JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services
- Identify and resolve application bugs
- Use Git for version control
- Collaborate remotely with the development team
- Complete assigned work within agreed deadlines
Required Skills
- Good understanding of Core PHP
- Basic working knowledge of Laravel
- Knowledge of MySQL
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap
- Basic JavaScript and jQuery skills
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
- Familiarity with Git
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Experience and Qualifications
- Six months to two years of PHP development experience preferred
- Freshers with strong practical skills and completed projects may also apply
- A relevant degree or diploma is preferred but not mandatory
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate previous PHP or Laravel projects
Preferred Skills
Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:
- Payment-gateway integrations such as Razorpay, Stripe or PayPal
- WordPress or WooCommerce
- cPanel and basic web-hosting management
- Third-party API integrations
- Basic server deployment
