Work on electrical projects for product engineering.
Continuously work on the analysis and electrical design of the PCBAs. Address life cycle risks to ensure continued production of products.
Identify EE component life cycle threats and address same with appropriate alternates (drop-in alternates or redesigns).
Perform necessary technical analysis Simulations on P spice, LT Spice, MATLAB/Simulink.
Create technical review documents, update design files in Altium or OrCAD, print PADs and perform technical review with team.
Review and document the component design, compliance and reliability requirements.
Drive Failure analysis for components and associated corrective actions, using internal and external resources across global supply chain.
Create test plans and perform (or support test lab) necessary testing to validate change.
Requirement:
Bachelor’s in electrical and Electronics Engineering and 4+ years of relevant work experience in electrical engineering.
Experience in Circuit design (analog/digital/power) and layout design knowledge.
Experience in working with in Altium or OrCAD for Schematic capture, Allegro, PADs, Silicon Expert etc. , PCB design.
Experience in performing design simulations using PSpice, LT Spice, SI analysis tools.
Track component lifecycle status using industry tools (e.g., SiliconExpert)
- Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or KiCad.
Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, STM32), Display and Sensors.
Experience in wire and wire-less and communication protocols and related hardware ( eg. I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).
Troubleshoot electronic hardware.Understands the methods of electrical test, troubleshooting, and manufacturing and can apply them under minimal supervision
Hand-on of testing and measurement equipment like DMM, DSO, AC/DC Power Supplies, VNA, Spectrum AnalyzerExperience in performing design simulations using PSpice, LT Spice, SI analysis tools.
Experience in medical device and design for EMI/EMC. Knowledge on medical EE designdevice standards will be a big plus.
Familiar with Industry standards IPC, IEC standards
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired): Identify and resolve EMI/EMC issues, perform link budget analysis, and optimize transmitter/receiver cHands-on experience with RF simulation software (ADS or AWR) and proficiency with lab test equipment (VNA, Spectrum Analyzers).
Understands the theory of electrical design and can design a component or sub-system under minimal supervision.
Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Test) principles.
Knowledge of performing component derating, tolerance analysis, and reliability assessment in context of product use conditions
Validate components for harsh environments, EMI/EMC performance, and long-term reliability
