Fitter Maintenance Technician - Chemical Industry
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Fitter Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team in the chemical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and machinery used in the manufacturing processes. The candidate should have a solid understanding of mechanical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues and problems in equipment, and carry out the necessary repairs efficiently.
- Repair Work: Replace or repair defective parts, components, or machinery to minimize production downtime.
- Installation: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery as required.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce the risk of breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to industry safety standards and regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including reports on equipment status, parts used, and time taken.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to identify improvements in maintenance procedures and equipment performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Requirements: ITI Fitter
- Experience: Minimum of 1-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing industry.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
