The Tooling Trove is hiring Trainee – Tool & Die Makers to join our Tool Room team in Bhosari, Pune. This opportunity is ideal for fresh Diploma/ITI candidates who are eager to build a career in precision tooling and die manufacturing. Selected candidates will receive hands-on training and practical exposure to real-time manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in manufacturing, assembling, and maintenance of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures
- Support machining operations such as milling, turning, grinding, and fitting
- Read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Perform measurement, inspection, and basic quality checks
- Maintain machines and work area as per safety and 5S standards
- Follow SOPs and workshop safety guidelines
- Support productivity and continuous improvement initiatives
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma in Tool & Die Making
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- ITI Fitter
- Diploma/Certification in Mechatronics
- Freshers are encouraged to apply
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of tool room machines and manufacturing processes
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Team player with ability to follow instructions
- Basic understanding of workshop safety practices
