1. Academic Coordination
Oversee the scheduling and implementation of academic programs.
Coordinate with teachers to ensure that lesson plans are followed and teaching standards are met.
Organize and monitor assessments, exams, and grading systems.
Collaborate with faculty to implement new educational methods or curriculum changes.
Support students' academic progress by identifying challenges and offering solutions.
2. Timetable and Scheduling Management
Coordinating with VP to Prepare and manage the school timetable for both students and teachers.
Resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure that there is no disruption to academic activities.
Coordinate with staff for extracurricular and co-curricular activities, ensuring they do not conflict with academic sessions.
Ensure that resources such as classrooms and equipment are effectively allocated.
3. Teacher and Staff Coordination
Facilitate communication between teachers and Vice Principal
Conduct regular meetings with staff to ensure alignment on school policies and objectives.
Monitor and support teacher performance, providing feedback and facilitating professional development.
Assist in resolving any issues between staff, students, or parents.
4. Student Support and Welfare
Monitor student performance and work with teachers to identify students needing additional support.
Provide guidance and counseling services for students, addressing academic, emotional, or social concerns.
Organize student enrichment programs such as study groups, tutoring, or extracurricular activities.
Promote a positive and supportive school culture for both students and staff.
5. Event Planning and Extracurricular Activities
Plan, organize, and coordinate school events such as sports days, annual day functions, talent shows, etc with .
Ensure that students have opportunities to participate in various clubs, societies, and other non-academic activities.
Collaborate with other coordinators or staff for the smooth execution of events.
Monitor student participation and engagement in extracurricular activities.
6. Communication with Parents and Stakeholders
Organize parent-teacher meetings and other forums for parent engagement.
Communicate important academic or behavioral updates to parents in a timely manner.
Act as a point of contact for parents regarding their children's academic progress or any concerns.
Coordinate with external stakeholders such as education boards, government authorities, or community organizations when necessary.
7. Record Keeping and Documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress, and extracurricular participation.
Ensure that all reports, assessments, and feedback are properly documented and filed.
Prepare reports for school management regarding academic performance, event outcomes, and other relevant matters.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements regarding documentation.
8. Compliance with School Policies and Procedures
Enforce school rules and guidelines to ensure a safe and disciplined learning environment.
Monitor the implementation of school policies, ensuring they are aligned with legal and educational standards.
Regularly review school policies and update them as needed to reflect changes in educational practices or regulations.
9. Professional Development of Staff
Organize professional development sessions, workshops, and training programs for teachers.
Encourage continuous learning and improvement among the teaching staff.
Identify areas of growth for staff and facilitate access to relevant resources or training.
10. Safety and Discipline
Ensure that students follow school rules and contribute to a positive school culture.
Address disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
Work with school administration to maintain health and safety standards.
