Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Barista to join our café team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, welcoming café environment. This role requires attention to detail, speed, and a passion for coffee and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages as per standard recipes
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle payments
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, counter, and seating areas
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and inform management of replenishment needs
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally
- Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of coffee, beverages, and café operations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-oriented attitude with a positive demeanor
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Prior barista or café experience is preferred but not mandatory
