Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly responsible and competent Accounts and Stores Officer to lead our financial operations, handle internal payroll, and supervise our service store based out of our Tapoban City office in Bamunara. The primary focus of this role is core bookkeeping in Tally Prime, monthly payroll and salary statement preparation, GST tracking, strict bank statement reconciliations, and direct client reconciliation visits. Maintaining oversight of a manual inventory store system is a secondary duty.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Core Accounting, Billing & Client Resolution (Primary)
- Take complete ownership of day-to-day transaction bookkeeping and direct sales/purchase voucher logging in Tally Prime ERP.
- Generate GST-compliant service invoices, debit/credit notes, and customer account statements.
- Travel locally to client offices using a two-wheeler to perform two-way ledger reconciliation and clear up complex invoice or payment disputes face-to-face.
2. Payroll & Monthly Salary Statement Preparation (Primary)
- Maintain accurate employee attendance registers, tracking monthly total working and payable days.
- Compile, calculate, and prepare the final Monthly Salary Statement using advanced MS Excel formulas.
- Process statutory salary deductions correctly, specifically managing company-wide monthly PF and ESIC computations.
- Process adjustments for salary advance payments, employee loan deductions, performance incentives, and overtime.
3. Banking & GST Tax Tracking (Primary)
- Perform strict weekly and monthly Bank Statement Reconciliations (BRS) to maintain perfect ledger synchronization.
- Track Input Tax Credit (ITC) by matching company purchases against monthly GSTR-2B / GSTR-2A reports.
- Follow up firmly with vendors to ensure all tax invoices are uploaded to secure eligible ITC.
4. Manual Store & Inventory Oversight (Secondary)
- Maintain and verify the Physical Stock Registers and Bin Cards for all service spares and equipment.
- Conduct regular physical stock audits to ensure actual warehouse balances match manual logs, tracking down any leakage or unaccounted items.
Mandatory Candidate Requirements:
- Education: B.Com Graduate (A strong, fundamental grasp of commercial accounting rules is mandatory).
- Software: Advanced Tally Prime ERP expertise and strong proficiency in MS Excel formulas (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables for salary tracking).
- Compliance Knowledge: Practical understanding of PF and ESIC monthly ECR filing computations.
- Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience handling core accounting, GST tracking, weekly/monthly BRS, and professional salary statement preparation.
- Conveyance: Must own a two-wheeler with a valid Driving License for local route client visits.
- Commute: Preference given to candidates who reside locally (e.g., Muchipara, Bidhannagar, Arrah, Gopalpur/ Rajbandh/Bamunara) and can easily travel to the office daily.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
