Job Title: Project Sales Engineer – MEP (Contracting)

Job Summary:
The Project Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating and converting MEP contracting opportunities by handling tendering, estimation, and client coordination. The role focuses on securing turnkey MEP projects by preparing competitive techno-commercial offers, coordinating with internal execution teams, and ensuring alignment with project delivery capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and track MEP contracting opportunities through consultants, builders, PMC networks and online portals like Projects today.
- Handle end-to-end tendering process including RFQs, pre-qualification, and bid submissions.
- Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and techno-commercial proposal.
- Analyze tender drawings, specifications, and contract conditions.
- Coordinate with design, estimation, procurement, and execution teams for accurate costing and technical compliance.
- Follow up for bid clarifications, negotiations, and order finalization.
- Support in rate analysis, vendor quotations, and subcontractor evaluation.
- Maintain strong relationships with consultants, architects, PMCs, and developers.
- Maintain MIS reports for tenders, leads, and order status.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of MEP contracting scope and execution methodology.
- Knowledge of tendering, BOQ preparation, and rate analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with vendor market rates and subcontracting practices.
- Good communication, negotiation, and client coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (rate analysis), Word, and basic estimation tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- 1–2 years of experience in MEP contracting, estimation, sales/tendering.
Preferred Attributes:
- Exposure to commercial, residential, or industrial MEP projects.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines for tender submissions.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
