About the Role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the design, deployment, automation, and monitoring of scalable applications across on-premises and cloud environments for a generative/agentic AI product. The role involves close collaboration with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to build and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines, manage containerized workloads, and ensure high availability and system reliability. The project stack includes Python, .NET Core (C#), and React.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Containerize applications using Docker and support deployments on on-prem and hybrid Kubernetes clusters.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar.
- Assist in infrastructure automation using Terraform and configuration management using Ansible.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot deployment, performance, and environment-related issues.
- Maintain documentation for deployment procedures, automation scripts, and operational runbooks.
- Follow DevOps best practices related to security, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.
· Solid hands-on experience with Linux administration, troubleshooting, and shell commands.
· Good knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
· Hands-on experience with Docker and container-based deployments.
· Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, ports, load balancing).
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
· Good communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Kubernetes concepts.
- Basic Understanding of Python, .NET Core (C#), and React
- Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with Ansible or other configuration management tools.
- Scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or Groovy.
- Exposure to monitoring, logging, or alerting tools
