Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities, ensuring processes run efficiently, and managing a team to meet performance goals. This role serves as the link between team members and management, ensuring high standards of productivity, quality, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- oversee end-to-end order processing, inventory management, logistics coordination, and supply chain performance
- Supervise and coordinate daily operational tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to improve performance.
- Monitor KPIs (turnaround time, error rates, productivity metrics) and workflow efficiency.
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Manage resource allocation, scheduling, and workload distribution.
- Support the onboarding and training of new team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., HR, Finance, production, warehouse, Client Service) to support overall business goals.
- Prepare and present operational reports and performance summaries to management.
- Handle escalations and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Understanding of production cost components (material, labour, freight, etc.).
- Understanding of style details such as design specifications, fabric types, trims, sizes, and colours, unique style codes or SKUs for tracking.
- Understanding of technical packs (tech packs), including measurements, patterns, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Master Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· 8–15 years of experience in operations, team leadership, or process management.
· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Proven ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
· Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, or relevant operational tools.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
