ABOUT THE ROLE
Arjan Impex Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Sample Coordinator to manage and coordinate the complete sample development process. The candidate will work closely with designers, merchandisers, sourcing teams, vendors, and production departments to ensure timely and accurate execution of sampling activities for export orders and buyer developments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (MAJOR KRA)
▸ Preparing and maintaining trim cards and sample records.
▸ Coordinating sample development activities with designers and merchandisers.
▸ Managing sourcing coordination for fabrics, trims, and accessories.
▸ Organizing and maintaining fabric libraries and sample inventories.
▸ Ensuring smooth communication between vendors, sourcing teams, and internal departments.
▸ Monitoring sample timelines and ensuring on-time submissions.
▸ Assisting in fabric selection and maintaining fabric knowledge documentation.
▸ Coordinating with vendors for sample approvals, follow-ups, and dispatches.
▸ Maintaining accurate development data, swatches, and approvals.
▸ Supporting buyer sample requirements and seasonal collection developments.
▸ Demonstrating strong presentation skills during sample reviews, buyer meetings, and internal coordination.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
▸ Good communication and coordination skills.
▸ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
▸ Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment sampling processes.
▸ Vendor management and follow-up skills.
▸ Basic knowledge of graphics/design coordination.
▸ Attention to detail and deadline management.
▸ Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
▸ Strong presentation skills and professional communication.
Educational Qualification
Diploma/Degree from a Design College. Preference for candidates with a diploma/degree in Graphics or related design fields.
Experience Required
4–5 years of relevant experience in sample coordination, textile/export house, or garment industry.
PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
▸ Candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced export environment.
▸ Ability to coordinate with multiple teams simultaneously.
▸ Positive attitude with strong follow-up capabilities.
▸ Prior experience in home textile export industry will be preferred.
