About the Role
Anaxis Technologies is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer for a 2-year contract engagement. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on expertise in residential and outhouse construction projects, with a proven track record in design, planning, execution, and project management.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing projects from concept to handover, assigning tasks to on-site teams, monitoring project progress, and ensuring quality and safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end residential and outhouse construction projects from concept to handover.
- Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved plans and quality standards.
- Assign tasks to site workers and monitor completion as per project requirements.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage procurement activities and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
- Verify measurements, billing, and contractor invoices.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential and outhouse construction projects.
- Strong expertise in residential and outhouse project design.
- Excellent understanding of structural drawings and specifications.
- Experience in planning, estimation, and quantity surveying.
- Ability to assign and manage tasks for site teams effectively.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of local authority approvals and compliance processes.
- Certification in project management or safety standards is an added advantage.
